Map to zone
HITBOXES TAB
Drawing two corners around a zone works, but if the thing you want to tap is already on the page, you can point at it directly. Lasso it, and the artwork becomes the tap area.
This works for anything you can lasso: a sticker, something you drew, or a piece of your printed template.
Steps
-
Lasso the artwork with the note app's lasso tool.
-
Tap Modulanner in the lasso menu, then Map to zone.
-
Pick which zone it is. The panel opens with the list of zones, and the one you choose takes the lasso's outline as its region.
-
Tap the artwork with your pen. It navigates.
Move it, then map it
The zone remembers the area the artwork was in when you mapped it, not the artwork itself. If you move a sticker afterwards, map it again. You can map it straight after moving, with the sticker still selected.
Then save it into the template
Artwork you place on one page is only on that page. Templates, Update template with this page bakes it in, so every new page starts with it and the zone works on all of them. The setup walkthrough ends on exactly this step.
