The PDF recipe

Modulanner can't use a PDF file directly as a template — the note app needs a "which page?" step that plugins can't reach. There's a simple way round it.

Steps

  1. Set the PDF page you want as the background of a note page, using the note app's own tools.

  2. Go to that page.

  3. Templates → Save this page as a template… (page 3.4).

  4. You now have a normal PNG template that works everywhere.

Tip

Importing a PDF directly is still allowed in the Import screen, but it's flagged "may not work" — because it usually doesn't. S-56
